This is a round badge issued by the Ford Motor Company, I assume it to be a temporary badge that was issued to you if you visited the plant, perhaps?  It has a number of X8382 written with a black marker on a piece of paper that was slipped into the back because there is tape over the area where they would slip the paper into the badge.  It is about 2" across.  On the pin it says Ford Temporary Badge. (see pic).  There is surface wear on the badge.  This belonged to my uncle-he liked to collect things of this nature.  I do not know much about this type of thing so am just listing with the information that I know.  If you have questions please email me and I will try my best to answer them!
