France, commemorative, 1855, Britain's Queen Victoria visits France.  White metal with a shiny black finish.  Diameter:  28mm.  Very Fine, with a rough rim on both sides.  The bottom of the obverse says MASSONNET EDITEUR BORREL F.  The legend reads VICTORIA REINE D'ANGLETERRE.  There is wear on Victoria's hair, where it passes over her ear, the bottom rim of her crown by that section of her hair, and the two segments of crown embellishment closest to that section of her hair.  There's a tiny pock on her brow, and another on her chin.  There is a tiny 1mm long nick on her jaw, and a 2mm long nick on her neck.  There are two tiny pocks in the left field, and a 2mm nick in the left field in front of her crown.  Numerous tiny, shallow nicks in both fields. 

Most of the shiny black application is worn off of the reverse, snowin the white metal beneath.  Along the rim at 5 o'clock reads ETAIN.  The legend reads SA MAJESTE VICTORIA REINE D'ANGLETERRE VISITE SA MAJESTE NAPOLEON III EMPEREUR DES FRANCAIS.  In exergue reads 18 AOUT 1855.  There are numerous black speckles and tiny, shallow pocks and nicks.

Shipping:  Shipping is within the United States only. 

 

- I do combine multiple wins over a 5 day period, starting with the first win, into a single shipment to save on the cost of postage.  Checkout does not correctly adjust the shipping charges – I will e-mail you an invoice that shows the adjusted shipping amount.  Ship charge is the same $ amount for one coin or a half dozen coins. 

 

- Items are shipped by Priority USPS or First Class USPS (please make sure that you select which one you want when you make your payment).  

 

- I ship using padded mailers, bubble wrap for extra protection, and package tracking.  Since I'm a small seller, not a business shipping large quantities, I don't get a break on my shipping supplies or costs.  What I charge is less than my actual total cost, and I never charge a handling fee.  If you feel that the ship charge is too expensive, then please don't bid.

 

A note about recent changes made to the 1 - 5 rating system:  eBay counts a 4 the same as a 3, and a 2 the same as a 1.  Giving a 2 or a 1 in any of the categories puts a small seller at risk of being blocked from doing any further selling on eBay. Please bear this in mind when posting feedback and ratings for any seller.  Big sellers have the quantity of sales to cancel the effect of one or two bad ratings - small sellers do not.

 

Invoicing: I post invoices each evening, following the close of all of the items I sold that day.  The only reason that I wouldn't send an invoice that evening is if I see that buyer has active bids on other items closing within the same week. 

Shipping:  I ship the next business day after receiving payment, unless the next day is a Saturday - in which case I may not be able to ship until Monday. 

Tracking:  After I've shipped, I e-mail the tracking information to the buyer that same evening.
