Franciscan Earthenware Sundance 1970s Groovy Dinner Set

This is a 70 piece set of Franciscan Earthenware in the "Sundance" pattern. This was made from 1972-1977. It features a groovy yellow spiral pattern, on a natural tone china. The pieces are in fine condition overall, with no chips or cracks. A bowl and a few plates have some surface wear, but not nothing serious. Some pieces may have never been used. Each different piece has a number stamped on the underside along with the maker name.
Included are the following:

Plates

  • (11) 6 1/2" butter plates
  • (9) 8 1/2" salad plates
  • (12) 10 1/2" dinner plates


    Bowls

  • (10) 7" soup / cereal bowls

    Coffee / Tea service

  • (12) 3 1/4" cups
  • (12) 5 1/2" saucers
  • (1) 4" creamer
  • (1) 4 1/2" sugar bowl

    Serving ware

  • (1) 11 1/2" x 13 1/2" oval plate
  • (1) 9 1/2" diameter bowl

    Note: Some plates are shown with bubble wrap in the stacks

    The Sundance pattern has a distinct and sunny retro style, yet it doesn't over do it. We've seen individual pieces on ebay, but never a set this large. This may be your unique opportunity to acquire a marvelous set of 70's Franciscan Earthenware.
