Franciscan is a very prestigous brand of fine stoneware and china that was extremely coveted in the '70's! Here is the most popular pattern from that era in the most popular color! It is called Nut Tree and is classified as earthenware or stoneware! Dishwasher,microwave and oven proof-you can't find dishes this nice nowdays! These were our wedding dishes back in 1972 and we have used them only a few times in these past 37 years!
