While most are familiar with the 1939 version of L. Frank Baum's classic story, there were numerous earlier cinematic attempts to capture his characters and the Land of Oz. In fact, Baum himself was behind these earlier black-and-white features that present a more comprehensive version of the Emerald City and beyond. Collected here are four of these films both written and produced by Baum.
