The backgrounds are perfect reflective "blazing-mirrors" and the designs are frosty white.  The contrast between the mirror-like backgrounds and designs is stunning!  It's die-struck in the USA, (not a cheap cast-metal junker from China or Korea) and weighs one-ounce of .999 silver (the industry standard for pure) and measures 39 mm (a bit larger than a silver dollar).     Please Note:  Since we first started offering these in the 1oz. Pure Silver version we have ordered the Minting facility that makes them for us to enhance the reverse design by applying a satin finish to the center area of the die that may be used for engraving (in the industry this center areas is known as a "balloon").  A satin finish or "frosted" area for engraving results in better contrast between anything that may be engraved in the center and the field surrounding it.  We make note of this so that you are fully aware of the fact that there is a very slight difference in the product now being delivered vs. what is shown in the images and we hope that you, our valued customers, appreciate the added expense we've incurred to improve the product for you.
