”By the terms of a secret contract executed between Desire Christian and Galle in the years 1885-1896, Christian agreed to supply Galle in Nancy with artistically designed and decorated glass vases for the French and world market. During the eleven year life of this secret association, thousands of glass objects produced by Christian were attributed to Emile Galle – a belief that has persisted to this day.”
