The piece is solid maple and veneered with burled tiger maple and inlaid with walnut. The crest is also made from walnut. The mirror on the piece is original and beveled all around the edge. The top can be removed if you want to use this as a console table or a unique buffet or even just a desk. The marble top is original, in perfect condition and can also be removed. There are two drawers on the piece that can store anything you need to hide away. The doors slide open easily! Pictures, lamps, chair, vase, and accessories NOT included in this auction. This is for display purposes only to see a finished look you can create with this antique piece.As with all antiques this is a very old piece of furniture there is normal wear and inconsitancies. About the desk/vanity..... Measurements: Base measures 42" wide by 23" deep by 32" tall. The top measures 29" tall by 5" deep by 40" wide at the widest point. This vanity will be for sale at a local estate sale I am holding this weekend. I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime without notice if it does sell locally. Shipping: I now ship any where in the lower 48 states. This includes packing, crating, insurance & freight delivery in home upto 3 steps.
