Thank you for visiting my store! I love reading and hope you enjoy a great story as much as I do! Many people have emailed me questions regarding my listings. Most questions are regarding the information that is listed below. I try to respond to questions within one business day. I have a full time job that makes it difficult to respond during the day. This is a very long and detailed description of my policies. Every item on this page is a direct result of a prior experience and I have taken the time to point it out for a reason. I try to do everything in my power to make sure that problems are avoided but there are things that are not in my power. Please understand I am selling these books as a part time hobby and am mainly a one person operation. (my mom helps a little bit) For example, I have had people send me a note claiming they have ordered items from other sellers that did not take as long for delivery. Media mail and location are two major factors in shipment time. I am in Boston on the east coast, a book shipped via media mail to San Francisco cross country is going to take longer than if it was going to New York. I DO NOT ADVERTISE FAST SHIPMENT. I SHIP MEDIA MAIL AND THAT CAN BE SLOW. THE POST OFFICE DOES NOT ALWAYS SCAN MEDIA MAIL ITEMS SO TRACKING MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE. I try to be as upfront as possible regarding the condition of the books that I list. All books are in GOOD condition unless noted in at the top of this section. If a book is old, worn, underlined, torn, dog eared, book club edition, or in fair condition it will be noted at the top of the listing. I upload a photo every book, Ebay also puts a stock photo up and sometimes that photo is different from the actual book. The one for sale is the one that has a link to view a larger picture (every once in a while I will upload the wrong photo so please be kind). If you are looking for a particular copy of a book please email me. When I put the ISBN number in it for the book description it may not match the Ebay database. I will then try to match the copy as best as I can to obtain the description of the story. Paypal Only Softcover = Paperback I have had people email after they have received their book because the listing states the book is a softcover and they received a paperback. The format on the listing is pre-filled in. To my knowledge all books on Ebay are called softcover. I really try to avoid collector or first edition books. Sometimes the auto fill will state a book is a first edition when it is not. I try to catch them but miss sometimes. If you are looking for a first edition then email me to verify if it is in fact a first. If you have a feedback rating less than 5. I reserve the right to cancel your bid!!!! Do not bid over another bidder if you have a low feedback score. I use an automatic feedback system that will automatically leave positive feeback for every buyer that has left me positive feedback. If this policy is something that you don't agree with then please feel free to shop with another seller. On occasion books have been double listed in the store inventory. If you happen to purchase a book that I don't have I will automatically process a refund. All Items are mailed media mail usually within three business days from payment. Media Mail can take up to six weeks for delivery. Most books are delivered between 2 and 9 business days after shipment. If the post mark is within the three business day window then your problem is with the post office not with me. I have had books lost in the mail. Refunds will only be available for buyers who purchase shipping insurance. I strongly encourage you to purchase shipping insurance. In order to keep my shipping costs low I am unable to give refunds for items that are lost in the mail if the insurance has not been purchased. I use catalog manila clasp envelopes secured with tape. 99% of the time books arrive in the condition they were mailed in. 1% of the time they can be damaged during the shipping process. Please keep this in mind. I try to keep my costs down to pass the savings along to buyers. I am more than happy to charge you more for shipping if you prefer different packaging. Please email me for a price. For all domestic (US) shipments you will receive an email from paypal with your tracking number. I mail my packages the day after I print the label. If you have a question about the shipment status you should check the email tracking information. Shipping discount for U.S. Delivery is $3.50 for the 1st book $1 each additional book. To receive this discount you need to pay for all items at the same time! If you are bidding on a book that has an auction ending later than other books PLEASE WAIT TO PAY!! I will send a combined invoice that will have the shipping discount. I prefer to wait for payment if you are looking at other books. If you have any special requests please send me a message via Ebay messaging. Many messages get blocked from my spam blockers. I don't always see notes that are included in the Paypal notification of payment email that I am sent. To be sure that I get your message send it via Ebay messaging. Check out my other items!
