The life cycle of the frog - something we all knew as children. Many an hour was spent collecting tadpoles and watching them as they grew legs and their tails disappeared to become frogs. In todays world tadpoles aren't readily available but our children can still see the whole process in this wooden puzzle.

What a great way to teach the concept of life cycles to a child. The puzzle is in a recessed board that you fill up as you put in each layer. Each of the four layers is an individual puzzle and they don't need to be made inside the board but work just as well outside it.

This puzzle will help to develop manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination and picture matching skills as well as visual perception and fine motor skills whilst teaching about life cycles.
