The FinePix A800 features 8.3 megapixels. The FinePix A800 incorporates light sensitivities up to ISO800 at full resolution for "natural light" photos and less blur images. This camera appeals to first time buyers looking for outstanding performance at an affordable price. The FinePix A800 features Fujifilm's "Intelligent Flash" technology, which measures the size and position of the subject and sets flash power output and exposure level accordingly. Intelligent Flash delivers natural looking images without the 'washed out' effect that can be the result of traditional on-camera flash. For A800, several shooting modes will help users to take the best pictures in every situation. For example, "Baby mode" reproduces skin tones accurately and "Picture Stabilization mode" enables the camera to enhance its shutter speed for with less blur photos. The FinePix A800 features 14 scene position modes. Ease of use is key to the design of the FinePix A800, with a simple button layout that makes the cameras ideal for first time users. The FinePix A800 features a newly designed mode dial, enabling users to quickly select scene position modes with their thumb. Framing photographs is made easy with a large 2.5" LCD monitor with an anti-reflective coating to prevent glare when shooting in daylight. The camera is powered by two AA-size batteries, which are readily available around the world.
