In these auctions, are the finest, most film identical costumes you will be able to find anywhere. How am I sure of this? Because not only are some of the pieces directly cast from actual film pieces, but I have access to a full movie worn costume. So all fabrics are matched to weight, color, even the very same measurements.   I have been in the "Sparrow business" for over two years now, and have researched this entire costume inside out. My work has even been seen by Johnny Depp himself, and his very words were "very well done". See it for yourself!    The costume you receive will be hand created to your own measurements, and will take anywhere from 1-2 weeks (provided there are no snags in production). Costume will look just as mine, and you can choose the level of distressing: leave it clean, a little, or a lot! Remember, none of these pieces have been made using "eyed" or "made up" measurements and materials... these are the REAL DEAL! Below is a list of each item as well as description:   HAT: The only "truly accurate" hat that you will find anywhere! Many out there come close, but none of them actually use the correct type of leather. I know this because I held and studied one of Depp's own hats, and from everyone else's descriptions, they are off. Hat is hand dyed, distressed and cut to the exact pattern as Johnny Depp's own hat. ULTRA lightweight! So light, that you'll forget it's even on your head! Hat also features a soft leather inner band, to keep your hair from getting caught on the glue and leather, where the cap meets the brim. Hat is sized about 24", and formed into shape... which means no wires. If yours needs to be a little smaller, let me know, but be sure to be measuring around your wig!   WIG: This is a beautiful new human hair wig. Features synthetic dreadlocks, and leather tie-ins. Also sewn in are all of the correct coins and beads, including the infamous "blue coin". All beads cast in lightweight, shock resistant industrial grade urethane resin, to their correct size and color, as well as a flexible resin "bone needle". I once used antique trade beads, but opted to cast them as the real beads were far too heavy. Human hair beard extensions also added and ready to wear.   FROCK: Frock coat is a beautiful piece that was created using the exact fabrics, along with screen cast brass plated buttons. The coat trim on this is not a cheap machined button hole stitch, rather it is a closely matched trim much the same as on the actual coats. Coat is a warm and heavy 3 ply linen, again, just like the actual movie coats. Coat is fully lined with lots and lots of hand stitching; a key feature that everyone seems to miss.   WAISTCOAT: The waistcoat is another piece measured directly from actual movie wardrobe. Waistcoat also features the correct sized buttons, all hand cast in pewter. These buttons cannot be found in any stores that I know of as they either plastic or too large.   SHIRT: The shirt is a very comfortable, lightweight piece. Again, made just like the movies shirts. Not made of muslin but of the correct weight linen. It too has more of the correct hand stitched details, aa well as hand made tassels, with all of the correct gussets. The shirt comes to you tea stained, to give it that worn in look.   BREECHES: Again, breeches are made exact to the movie used pairs, with the matching color and weight linen. Buttons are exact, and pants have nice deep pockets. These also include actual bronze plated knee buckles, cast from a screen used buckle! When was the last time anyone actually saw what was there? Since they're always tucked in the boot, never! So this will be a first for many. I will need specific measurements on these.   SAILOR'S PALM & WRIST WRAP: Sailor's palm is made from an actual tracing of a screen used palm (or "glove"). While the wrist wrap, used to help conceal Jack's pirate brand, is make of silk with woven colored strands, to best replicate the film used material. Palm piece comes to you with thumb hole uncut. This you will need to add yourself, to ensure a perfect fit. This piece is exclusive to this auction.   SASH & HEADSCARF: The headscarf you will get will be the same material and color as mine, but will not include the designs. I had to hand draw mine on, and it would take me far too long to have to do it all over again. But I will include a picture, should you want to draw them on yourself. The sash is also a similar piece to my own, but the lines are woven in, not drawn on. These two pieces are exclusive to this auction, and are only included to help you complete your costume that much easier.   BALDRIC & BELT: The baldric is a brass plated pewter reproduction, and unlike others, accurately sized to movie specs. Buckle features a professional brass oxide finish, and lacquered for longevity. The belt is also a beautiful long piece, covered in a soft Italian leather along with the correct straps to hang your sheath from.   BELT BUCKLE & BELT: This belt buckle is another piece cast directly from a screen used buckle, and offers a brass plating. Again, that means that there is absolutely no difference between it and the ones that Johnny Depp wore himself, as it was molded directly from one of his own. Includes a long aged leather belt, that can be trimmed down to any length you desire.   This is a pricey costume, but not everyone can afford to look this perfect. I use only the best materials, and treat every piece as if it were my own. I take no shortcuts when making my replicas, and confidently offer these works of art to you, knowing that you will enjoy it for years to come. My costume has won awards and is always a hit at shows or conventions. Perfect for you to wear at SCA events, conventions, ren faires, Halloween parties or the movie theater.
