Hook, Line and Sinker is a devilishly funny feature film staring the hilarious comedy duo Wheeler and Woolsey. Both Broadway stars before teaming up, Bert Wheeler and Robert Woolsey became a smash success with their superb comedic timing and use of racy double entendre. Here in Hook, Line and Sinker, the duo is out to save a beautiful young girl (Dorothy Lee) from her rich and controlling mother. Utilizing their flair for the ridiculous, Wheeler and Woolsey manage to take the ladys run down hotel and falsely advertise it into a ritzy resort favored by the exorbitantly wealthy. But everything breaks down into a silly mess when jewel thieves and bootleggers take the hotel by storm!
