G&L SC-2 - 2-Tone Sunburst

The original G&L SC-2 was designed by Leo Fender in the 80's to be the student model of his lineup. It was very poplular back when it first came out, so much so, that the folks at G&L decided to release it again recently. The only difference is that this one is no student model. It has a full scale neck and pickups so hot they would care your guitar teacher.

The G&L SC-2 you see here is featured in a color not even listed on the G&L website. The 2-color sunburst has a classy look to it and it shows off the figure of the alder wood body nicely. The neck pickups are a nice compromise between single coil twang and P-90 roar. For as simple as the setup is, this guitar has so many great sounds in it, you will be amazed. The G&L patented Dual Fulcrum vibrato mated to G&L stamped Schaller tuners keep this sunburst in tune all night. The 12" radius on the rosewood fingerboard makes for a guitar that is great for chords and string bending.
