About the Print


This painting comes from my Birds on Branches series. You can visit my ME page to find out more on this series, by clicking on BLOG.

This print comes on Watercolor paper, and has a 1 inch white border around the print for easy matting and framing. If you would like to add a matte to the painting, please contact me for pricing. There are only 25 going to be printed, and each is numbered and signed. Once the 25 are sold, it will not be printed again. The print will frame out to 16 X 20.
The print will be shipped rolled in a cardboard tube. If you prefer the print to ship flat, please contact me.

 I grew up in Washburn, Maine. Washburn is a very small rural town. It's the type of town where everyone knows everyone by name. The town is positioned in an area where scenic beauty isn't far away. Just a short drive to the beaver brook road, and you are suddenly surrounded by tall trees that are hundreds of years old. You have to drive slow, because around every corner lurks a moose or deer. They aren't afraid to take you on, if you happen to encroach into their territory. There is a lake in every direction from my home. In the summer the sunsets are amazing, with colors that range over the spectrum. In the winter it is brutally cold, and gray for months. It is a beautiful place. I attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle from 1999 - 2004. I studied Fine arts under the well known artist Anderson Giles. My art is collected internationally, and is hanging in someones home or business in almost every state of the US. Composition is key for me. I paint in many styles, from abstract to landscapes, and I paint bold to neutral, but this saying says it all;

Shipping And Packaging

When you win a GagnonStudio painting you can have confidence that the painting will arrive safe. Even though I insure all packages, I carefully package each and every painting. The painting is wrapped in bubble wrap, and placed securely in a cardboard box. It is then stabilized (if needed) within the box with extra cardboard. This prevents the painting from moving around.
Prints are shipped rolled in a cardboard tube.
