Product Description

The Gallien-Krueger Goldline 500 is a bass amp head that was developed to complement the look and tone of the GLX series bass speaker enclosures. The GK Goldline series is an ideal marriage of affordability and outstanding quality.

The Goldline 500 bass head features a 500W, solid state amplifier and a foot-switchable boost "valve effect" channel. GK Gate-Induced Valve Effect, or G.I.V.E. technology, was developed by Bob Gallien in 1972 and is part of what gives GK its distinctive sound. The Goldline 500 bass head is made using the same quality components as GK's professional products, such as a high-current power supply for maximum punch and a toroidal transformer for greater efficiency. The adjustable contour and active 4-band EQ make it simple to dial in a great sound. The Goldline 500 delivers a warm, punchy tone with a fast transient response that not only sounds better, but feels better.

This Goldline 500 was taken in as a part of a lot trade-in from a local customer who is moving out of state. Almost all of the items were bought from us within the last year, and the previous owner kept his gear in top notch condition.
