About Our Art Glass These magnificient creations are born through high temperature kiln firing. First the artwork is laminated onto the underlying glass. Each individual section in the design is unique in color and texture and is separated by an epoxy resin which is raised similar to lead solder on traditional stained glass work. With kiln-fired glasswork, the designs are much more intricate that you could ever obtain with traditional cut glass, and the lines are finer. Colors are individually applied and then dried at high temperatures. The enamels are cooled, and after passing inspection, enters the kiln to be fired. When fired, the enamels become permanently fused into the glass which give each piece a richness and depth of color. With the kiln-fired method of stained glass, we are able to use much more intricate designs, with more vibrant colors and many more variations of color. The resultant art panels are visually stunning!
