NOTE: Over the next few months, I will be listing many golden age comics - lots more Roy Rogers, other westerns, Tarzans, Walt Disney (Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse)  related, Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, other funny animals as well as some superhero. Condition: I have put up scans of the front and back covers to help you judge the condition. It looks like eBay's picture service has improved and hopefully you will get a good idea of the condition of the comics. All pages are complete and supple unless stated otherwise below. Just to make sure, I am noting any defects that might not be obvious on the scans:  Special note for this posting; My scanner just went down and I had to resort to taking pictures using my Coolpix camera. as a result, not being the professional photographer, some of the pictures may show the flash in the middle of the picture. Should that partially hide anything of significance, I will be sure to note below.

Not too bad of a copy, although "Daly" wrote his name on Gene's hat. Crease in the upper right corner and a few interior pages were dog-earred. Tight, solid

See supersized scans.    For your reference, Overstreet lists this in "NM" as being worth  $95 I have set a very low and reasonable starting bid of only $5.00 with NO Reserve! 

Shipping and Handling: Only $5.00 with NO ADDITIONAL charge for any other lots won that also end today! Your item will be sent BOXED priority with delivery confirmation!  No need to email me because you have had comics bent when sent in an envelope! I understand! 

A special note to those who may consider $5.00 too much (I do get these comments): I do not make any money on "shipping and handling" as some sellers do. Paypal takes $.15 out of that $5.00. Check with usps.com and you will see that the minimum cost of sending a box via priority mail is $4.95. I live on the east coast, so any package over a pound sent to the west coast costs at least $8.30. I absorb that extra cost!. Because of their size and the number of boxes I might have on any one day, I can not give them to my regular mail person, who is on foot. I travel to the Post Office the very next day I receive confirmed payment - whether it is for one package or twelve. That's my time and gas. The post office sends me appropriately sized and sturdy priority boxes to my house for FREE!

If any of those people wishing for cheaper shipping have a source that will send me sturdy, appropriately sized boxes to my house for free, please share that information! Yes, media mail is cheaper (and much slower), but to safe guard your purchase, I need boxes or would have to buy large envelopes and ultra thick cardboard (like a box?!), take the time to cut it to size, and then add that extra time and  expense to my "handling" charge. It would NOT be cheaper. Even then, an envelope dropped on its corner with thick cardboard WILL bend! I've been doing this for over 10 years and this seems to be the method people want and appreciate - check my feedback.

Sorry, international bidders, I have had too many problems to go into here, but I will only accept bids from those with a USA address. Please do not ask for an exception.

Insurance:  eBay no longer accepts insurance as an option. If you wish wish insurance, email first. I will only charge the exact amount needed for the amount of insurance requested. Go to the usps site for updated information.

Payment and Communication: As soon as all of the items that I have posted to end the same day as this one have ended, I will send out invoices. I accept PayPal Only!

Unfortunately, due to the advent of sophisticated printers and the increase in counterfeit checks, banks now say that it takes 10 business days (two weeks) for a personal check to clear. Those other forms of payment that can be purchased at the post office, 7-11's, Walmarts, etc. are no longer allowed on eBay, also due to problems of fraud, I assume. I can not even put the name of this form of payment in this description because eBay will flag this listing! Again, my bank  does NOT treat them as cash and will put a hold on that amount in my personal account if I wish to cash it. If I deposit it, it is not mine to use for 2 weeks.Sorry for the inconvenience, but accepting these forms of payments means I probably can't ship out an item until roughly 3 weeks after the auction has ended - usually one week to receive payment, a separate trip to the bank, and two weeks waiting for it to clear - definitely unacceptable to all involved! So, PAYPAL ONLY! I hate to give them their percentage, but it is easier and safer for both of us! Sorry for the long-winded explanation, but unfortunately there are dishonest people out there who are taking advantage of today's technology. Recently, I was burned by a very authentic looking, but bogus, payment. It must be easy to do because it was only for $15, fortunately.  That buyer is gone from eBay now - probably using a new name. 

 Paypal is easy to sign up for, and since you must give them a back up credit card source, you do not need your bid amount in your account at the time to pay. If not paying immediately by Paypal, at least use the eBay checkout link to acknowledge that you are aware that you won the auction. Payment should arrive within one week. I will ship within one business day after confirmed payment.   Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
