SPECTACULAR STERLING & GARNET BRACELET,UNUSUAL DETAILS

SquareTrade © AP6.0 I am offering an extremely unusual and handsome bracelet designed and created by GEOCHRISTO OF ATHENS. Comprised of 18k gold, sterling silver mesh and posts, and garnets of varying sizes on the clasp as well as on the connective "posts", its design comes from antique Greek Byzantine jewelry found in the museums of Athens. It measures 1" wide and fits a 7" wrist with a bit of breathing room. Can be made smaller, but with limitations. New and unworn. Fairly flexible, not stiff, and wears very very comfortably.

Many Greek jewelery designers have created designs which have been emulated or re-branded for sale at some of the world's most exclusive stores. This, however, is original jewelry designed and created by a consummate artist whose family has been pre-eminent in their field for over 100 years. Geochristo partnered at one time with Konstantino, another Athenian and who sells through Neiman Marcus, assisting in broadening Konstantino's collection. To this day, one can see Geochristo's influence in many of Konstantino's designs. Geochristo's skills are, however, untouchable when it comes to very tiny detailing such as the applied scrollwork and engraving in his own pieces and he tends to design closer to designs found in Greek antiquities. This bracelet has been referred to as a "Byzantine" style given its chain mail/armor stylistic motifs. It is an especially intricate and unique bracelet and the touch of 18k gold and gems give it a "royal" touch. Works well for either gender. Signed and stamped. The work is so detailed and so gorgeous that one should grab his work before it is carried by US stores at high prices. I have been told that this bracelet could easily be priced at $1200 here.
