Offered here for auction is this stunning and Extremely Rare Leather Hand Bound First Edition from 1980 of the Genesis Publications Book by the Late,Great George Harrison 'I Me Mine'.

This First Edition from the United Kingdom is Hand Bound in two-tone leather with the main cover of the book in Black Leather/Cloth and the guitar on the front cover and the title on the spine (I Me Mine) in Dark Red Leather.This book is a joy to behold with it's matching buckram slipcase.Printed in 28 Special Colours by Kingprint of Richmond,Surrey,United Kingdom the book is in Very Good Condition Indeed having been held in a Private Collection for the last thirty years!

This is a Very Special & Rare Edition being a Review/Presentation copy of the book.Only 50 of these were produced along with the 2,000 books that formed the Signed Edition.These 50 copies were distributed to friends and book reviewers...This is the first time I believe that one of these has come onto the market making it much rarer than the 2,000 Signed Editions.

The book is identical in every way to the Signed Limited Edition other than the fact that it has not been hand signed by George Harrison but has a page inserted at the beginning of the volume that states 'This is a review copy and not part of the signed,limited edition of 2000 copies signed by George Harrison'.This volume has a facsimile of George Harrison's signature embossed in gilt on the back cover of the book,special sepia and colour photographs of George 'tipped in' at the front and back of the book with protective papers & printed in 28 Special Colours.Gilded tooling on the spine,Gilt page edges and a silk bookmark,Antique-laid cartridge pages contain autobiographical narration by George, sepia illustrations woven throughout the text, and 49 plates of archival photographs, as well as lyrics to 83 songs, many in facsimile reproductions of the originals, hand-written on hotel notepaper, envelopes and other scraps of paper a 450 page work of art...the volume just oozes quality and the smell of the finest leather!

This is a Super Rare UK First Edition of this fantastic title and would make a fabulous additon to any George Harrison/Beatles fans collection or a simply wonderul gift...don't let this one get away!
