835 GERMAN SILVER TEA SERVICE

 THIS IS A 20TH CENTURY ART DECO SET WHICH INCLUDES THE COFFEE POT, TEA POT, COVERED SUGAR BOWL, CREAMER AND THE LARGE WAITER TRAY. IT IS HALLMARKED WITH THE GERMAN STATE CRESCENT MOON AND CROWN SILVER GUARANTEE MARK. THE FIVE PIECE TEA SERVICE HAS THE MARK OF EMIL HERMANN WALDSLETTEN. THE MARK WAS USED BETWEEN 1921 - 1950. THE TRAY DOES HAVE SOME SCRATCHES THAT COULD STAND A PROFESSIONAL BUFFING. ALL PIECES CAME FROM THE SAME ESTATE.  THE SET IS IN REMARKABLE CONDITION.

The company Emil Hermann in Waldstetten, a town near the silversmith capital Schwäbisch Gmünd, has been producing silver tableware of the highest quality since 1921.
Silver tableware of excellent quality and timeless beauty is the result of 25 highly trained employees and three generations of experience.
 The pattern of this tea service is called Chippendale and is still being
made today. The silver content would be .925, but the price of the
set is $11,448.82. Just thought you might want to know.
