This field made Trench Knife was out of a German 84/98 Bayonet. It is mounted with a shortened blade that now measures 7 1/8 inches in length which shows heavy sharpening and use however, the date 38 can still be made out on the spine. The chocolate screw type composite grips remain healthy in condition and the fittings also remain nice although have now darkened with age. The metal scabbard has been mounted with a belt clip and remains in good serviceable condition. Overall the Knife measures 11 1/4 inches in length. There is no reserve. (please note other items shown as props are not included in this auction)
