GESSO BARBOLA RIBBONS~ROSES FRAME , NUDE LADY PORTRAIT

First let me say,  I do not know anything about art,   I just buy what I like. I also want to apologise for the pictures, hard to get a good picture with the glass , also there are dark shadows in some of them,  not spots or stains,  JUST ME! taking th pictures.   So if there is anything important you would like to know,  that I have failed to put in the description,  Please ask,  I will do my best to answer.  This appears to be all original,  never taken out of this frame. Backing paper is in very bad shape, loose tattered and coming off.

I bought this for the Barbola frame, The frame measures 10.5" tall,  not including the ribbon at the top,  and 8.5" wide.   Inside measure approx. 10" by 8".  There are a few age cracks in the gesso,  but otherwise strong.  

The artwork is just as stunning.  The portrait is of a kind of risque young lady,  with one breast exposed.   The print itself measures approx. 5" by 7".  It is matted.   The print and the mat is browning, toning around the edges, not sure if that is the correct term or not. 

  I tried to take pictures of the printing above and below the print, engraving,  but could not get a good picture.   At the top of the print,  it says   Published 1913 by Fishel Adler & Schwartz Co. New York.

At the bottom,  it says Printed in Color at One? Printing and Engraved by    Signed in pencil?   24. in left lower corner,  and W. A. Cox in lower right corner.  

PLEASE NOTE:   I am sorry to have to do this,  but due to the changes ebay has made with the shipping insurance,  I am forced to make changes as well.  Up until now, I have not charge for handling or packing materials,  I do not add anything to cover ebays listing or final value fees.  I didn't want to pass  the increases on to my customers.

  I am afraid I cannot also absorb the cost of insurance, and continue to sell on ebay.  So I will be adding a handling fee to my auctions.  This handling fee will be  included in the quoted shipping.  Depending on the selling price,  a partial refund may be issued.    I am really sorry to have to do this,  but the focus on protection is for buyers,  and even honest sellers have to protect themselves. 

If more than one item is bought, and shipping is combined , the handling cost will be only enough to offset actual insurance costs,  which is included.   I never charge extra.   Please inform me that you are done bidding,  and I will carefully pack your items, and give you a exact shipping invoice.
