GFJ Korean Glass Fishing Float - Uncommon Mark L

KOREAN GLASS FISHING FLOATS ~ UNCOMMON MARK L

This is a Korean 3-piece mold glass fishing float that I personally beachcombed along the coast of the Aleutians in Alaska.  It spent lots of time drifting out in the Bering Sea after detaching from its fishing net.  Often these floats can spend years & years adrift until a good wind blows them onto the beach!!  I was lucky enough to find this unique treasure!!

This float is about 3.3" in diameter & is a beautiful ice blue color.  It bears the uncommon L mark on the sides.  I have found only 3 of these out of the thousands I have beachcombed.  It has some net marks/frosting.  The seal button has NO chipping.  Chipping is common for floats that have actually been used at sea then tossed onto the beach.  This float also has a great dappled appearance from being blown in a wooden mold.  There are no cracks or dings, nor any damage that takes away from the beauty of the float.
