Up for consideration is a Gibson SG Special Robot guitar in Purple Metallic finish. This piece is a shop demo in very slight worn condition. Original Gibson case is included. The "Robot" in the name is not a drinking-buddy robot like Bender, or an evil robot like Gort or Johnny 5. He is a helpful robot, however:

Gibson’s revolutionary Robot SG Special is unique in many ways, but the “robot-like” Powerhead Tuners that grace the headstock are extraordinary. Pull out the Robot SG Special Multi-Control Knob (MCK) and watch the Powerhead Tuners spring into action. It takes only a few seconds for the Powerhead Tuners to tune the Robot SG to the desired tuning. Each tuning peg is equipped with a tiny, but powerful, servo motor that kicks into action once the system is activated. The Powerhead Tuners rely on the strings themselves to send the signals, eliminating any potential for interference.

Six factory set tunings, or change to your own favorite tunings. Nifty little gadget.

Anything we sell can be sent to you for a short approval period without obligation. We collect NO SALES TAX, unless you live in Kansas. The customer is responsible for shipping and insurance and must pre-pay back to us any freight and insurance charges on returned equipment. International shipping is available. Returned items will be refunded within 3 weeks of receiving the item. We’re happy to send any instrument “on approval” for five days, but ask the prospective buyer to pay shipping both ways and to reimburse us 2.95% for restocking and cleanup on any returned instrument (items paid by PayPal are exempt from restock fees).

Price includes a free setup by either of our two Gibson and Fender authorized luthiers (guitars only), with your choice of strings and choice of setup specs. Please email or call us about other new and used guitars that we have available.
