OS = Oldstyle Navajo artist Gilbert Tom trained under the guidance of the late legendary master silversmith H*a*r*r*y M*o*r*g*a*n, who's spent the most creative part of his career making one-of-a-kind, high end pieces for the glitterrati of Hollywood and their films, tutored many of the best Gallup area artists who've singlehandedly revived old style Navajo jewelry. So if you see the perfectionism that typically characterizes a H*a*r*r*y M*o*r*g*a*n piece, you'll know that Gilbert came by it honestly and has gone on to create his own distinctive "old" style easily distinguishable from Harry's though he does use the old pawn finish that Harry developed. For this oldstyle bracelet with an old pawn finish, Gilbert selected a bright blue green Turquoise Mountain stone with small areas of well defined yellow and navy blue matrix. This rectangular stone measures a hair less than 7/16ths" by slightly less than ½." A twisted rope overlay surrounds the stone along with large hand made sterling silver rain drop beads at the four corners and four hand stamped sunray overlays along all four sides. Gilbert stamp all three of the frame wires with small cactus designs from bezel to mid shank. This bracelet measures 15/16ths" wide in the center, and its three wire bracelet frame tapers to 3/8ths" in width at both terminals. It has an interior measurement of 5¼" with a carefully adjustable opening gap of 1 and 1/8th." If your wrist is 6¼" to 6½" in circumference, this bracelet should fit with little or no careful adjustment of shanks.
