IN MANUFACTURING THIS TOY, THE AIM HAS BEEN TO PRODUCE A PROLONGED OR CONTINUOUS PERFORMANCE OF ITS AMUSING FEATURES WITHOUT THE AID OF AN EXPENSIVE AND DELICATE CLOCKWORK MECHANISM.  THIS HAS BEEN ACCOMPLISHED BY INVENTING A SIMPLE STRONG DURABLE MOTOR.  THE SIMULATION OF SKIPPING ROPE IS PERFECT.  THE BODY, HEAD, FEET, AND ROPE ALL MOVE IN UNISON, BUT EACH PART PERFORMS INDEPENDENTLY IN ITS OWN APPROPRIATE MANNER.
