Artist: GIRLS CAN'T HELP IT.   Promotional material recently acquired from a concert promoter's estate.  8x10" glossy publicity photo + two page bio/press release.  Info from the period of their album Pure Wild and single Baby Doll.   Original promo items, not reprints.  All Near Mint condition.

Members are listed in bio as Peggy-Sue Fender, Katy Lynne and Belinda (Billy) Adams. Members previously had worked with the band Generation X (Billy Idol) (also appearing on a cover photo) and in the movies Bugsy Malone and A Touch Of Class as well as modelling.

Biography by Alex Henderson:  Billie Adams, Jacqueline Bucknell, and Samantha Spencer-Lane comprised Girls Can't Help It, a short-lived urban contemporary/dance-pop trio that was active in London in the early '80s. Because Girls Can't Help It consisted of three white females from England — all of them gorgeous — some people compared the obscure group to Bananarama. But the trio's fun, playful music actually had more in common with the Mary Jane Girls and Vanity 6 (although Girls Can't Help It didn't have Vanity 6's trashy, pornographic image). Formed in 1982, Girls Can't Help It recorded its debut EP, Pure Wild, for Sire the following year. The record didn't sell, and in 1984, Girls Can't Help It broke up without ever recording a full-length album.
