What
Makes Our Limited Edition Reproductions Special?
The
Digital Source
A
custom-built scanning apparatus in the artist's studio, pictured at
left, enables him to scan
(as opposed to photograph)
even the largest originals
at high resolution with perfectly controlled lighting, color and focus.
The result? Exquisite reproduction of detail and texture with great
fidelity to the source artwork - a final product that's the next best
thing to
owning the original.
Large
Format Image
sizes average 11 by 13 inches (exact image and paper
size for this edition are detailed above). With a typical 3-inch
matting and 1-inch frame molding, the overall framed size of this
Philip Gladstone limited edition print would be about 19 by 22 inches -
large enough to become a prominent focal point wherever it's displayed.
Small
Editions
The number of collectible
prints produced is limited to just
fifteen plus two artist's proofs (edition size may vary for some reproductions produced before 2007, see individual item description for exact edition size above). Printed on
heavyweight 61 lb. matte paper with layered eight-color print
technology, every print is
made
and carefully inspected by the artist himself,
and
signed, numbered and dated in pencil. Each print is shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity,
also signed by the artist.
Careful
Packaging
all
limited edition prints ship flat in a sturdy cardboard
mailer.
