This listing is for both SANTENDO Eye Lotion applicator and SAILOR- EYE LOTION- ITAMI LABORATORY refill bottle. The Sailor brand is a sealed ampoule that was snapped open and used to re-fill another Applicator but it was also used for other applicators such as the one included in this list.

Below are approximate information we have received, please ask lots of questions and for more photos before bidding.

AGE:         Both are from around 1910s or earlier

SIZE:    Amber glass Ampoule is 4-1/8" tall & the Santendo is 3" tall

CONDITION:  Both are in near mint conditions

COLOR:  Ampoule is Amber & Eye wash unit is Yellow glass with a very tiny hint of Amber. It was hand tooled smooth on both ends but unfortunately does not have its label or end covers, the wide opening had a rubber like plunger the was pressed when held over the eyes and the other end has glass "threads" designed into the bottle for a screw on cover.

Both are Eye Wash Bath related items and the Japanese we assume invented this, we have never seen any of these anywhere else only Japanese made. These are still found while digging for bottles here in Hawaii but usually they are damaged because of the thin glass walls.
