Well, ladies and Gentleman for those of you who are Globe Wernicke/Macey stack barrister legal bookcase collectors, restorers and fans these are EXACTLY what you need to finish detailing your bookcase units. This auction is for 2 (two) bookcases door roller assemblies. Additional quantities of these are available to the winning bidder with free shipping. I have spent a great deal of time in getting these produced. They are exacting in their dimensions to the originals. They work perfectly with the recessing in the factory door hinges. These materials are far superior to the original production materials used by Globe Wernicke. These steel shoulder screw assemblies are high grade stainless steel and the bushings are oil impregnated bronze (therefore self lubricating). The washers are stainless steel as well. Installed these look almost identical in color to the original production pieces unlike the other replacement bearing assemblies out there being offered today. These are far superior in terms of function over the original materials. The original materials would trap moisture between the steel bearing and steel shoulder on the screw and the steel bearing assemblies would then rust seizing up. This then forces the door surface to be dragged along the top of the bearing loosening the bearing attachment, damaging the wood on the door and slowing the progress of a door that should otherwise open with great ease. These parts will also work well with the other original bearing assemblies factory installed parts as replacement parts if you are only missing part of them. These are exacting production door roller assemblies for ALL "C", "D", "E", "G", "H" and "S" series Bookcase units. These also are ideal if you are converting the Macey units to Globe hardware to get them to function properly. I have 400+ stack units in my inventory and library and these fit in perfectly with my original units.
