GOLD Weave Fortuny Style Pleat Flapper Dress NY PARIS

A sublime purple dress from the Art deco Era made by the label "Chez Sonia , 230 & 546 Madison Ave, NY. & Paris".  Unique in design, Superb in craftsmanship & attention to detail. A rayon or rayon blend fabric, featuring a magnificent gold weave, Fortuny style pleating & 3 silver cut buttons at each sleeve. Great to good condition, under arm issues & some breakage at one armscye. One thumbprint size spot (front skirt) 1 fingertip size (rear skirt). One sleeve has three small lines (approx 2" each) where it looks as though the fabric may have faded & one more 1" faded line at the front. Three small (pencil tip to slightly larger) spots at the bodice front. Any ?s please feel free to email me.
