MOST BEAUTIFUL VICTORIAN SILVER PLATE BASKET I'VE SOLD

This is the most beautiful fruit basket I have ever seen, let alone had the pleasure to sell. It is fully reticulated in the most intricate Art Nouveau period pattern, and the footed base is solid, giving it great weight, so it would not be tipped over easily even if you did a display of flowers or fruit. This would make the perfect bride's basket or head table centerpiece. The basket portion is in very good condition with a tiny amount of wear to base metal, and the handle has been professionally repaired in two spots. It is marked Wilcox Silver Plate Co., Meriden, Conn. and I am certain the new owner will be very impressed in real life. This is part of a huge estate we are handling, really one of the finest we have had in years, so be sure to Click here to see many more antiques and decorative arts. I am sure this would sell for a handsome price at any antique show or shop, but with my low opening bid and NO RESERVE someone could score a huge bargain !! A: The size is 13" tall to the top of the handle, 6-1/4" not counting the handle, by 10-1/4" across the top of the basket itself, though honestly it looks much, much larger than that sounds. Joanie :o)
