GORGEOUS WESTERN ELECTRIC DIAL CANDLESTICK PHONE

Up for auction is a 1927 Western Electric dial candlestick telephone. I have many hours invested in restoring it, and it works perfectly.

It is stunning with mirror like black powder coat paint. I first powder coat the phone with a deep high gloss black paint, and then I put

a clear powder coat over the black. It has a deep rich mirror like color to it that is much like they were when manufactured back in the

day. Powder coat is much more durable than spay painting them, which chips very easily. The bakelite receiver has been professionally

buffed to a high shine, and is in great condition. The mouthpiece is new old stock Western Electric, and is pristine. Both the receiver and

mouthpiece are free from any chips or cracks. This candlestick phone has been painstakingly restored to as new working condition. The

dial has been completely disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, lightly oiled, and reassembled to WE spec's.  The number card is a

reproduction of a real one. The oak  ringer box is mint, original, with the cracking shellac telling you that it has original finish. The

Western Electric decal is original to the ringer box, and in mint condition. The bottom felt on the phone is new, but an exact duplicate

of the original WE wool felt. The cloth covered cords are new made from the original WE equipment. The cloth covered line cord has a

regular jack on the end so you can plug in and dial away! It comes with a one year warranty, but will probably give you years of good
