I truly believe in Renaissance and tradition, but I also believe in the woman of the 21st century, renaissance is not just about what once was, but who we are and who we want to be, it is a chance for us to transform, into a different time, and take our present time with us, we have the choice to be traditional or be what makes us feel good, sometimes I will offer in my design and style that choice, you can be queen Elisabeth, a peasant or just you. I like to fool with color and color was a limited option then. It is your choice as always. I do not want you to think that I always produce and design clothing that is a reproduction even though sometimes I do, I want the people that bid on my auctions to feel that the item they have purchased will make them fit in and feel pretty, and believe me they do.
Color and special requests.: If you have a special request or special color choice please email us BEFORE you bid, to make sure we can accommodate your request. Completion Time: All of our designs are handcrafted to fit YOU. These are not ready to wear designs. It is always a good idea to email ahead if you are needing 'special handling' of any sort.
Our completion time is based on our workload, we do our best to get the costumes out within the 21 day period, again it does not take us 21 days to make a costume that is an average timeframe of orders we have in front of yours, sometimes it can be up to 6 weeks or as little as 2 weeks. The date your order is slotted is based on when we receive BOTH the measurement sheet and payment which ever comes last. We will email if we foresee going over your 21 day period.
If you have a set date you need your costume by note it on the measurement sheet again this is your lifeline to us. Certain things can cause delays and these things you should note:
- a. Hurricanes (We do live on Tampa Bay! Really right on the water, no kidding!)
- b. Our autistic son
- c. Our health- we have been known to get sick from time to time.
- d. Sizing- Over waist 45" or over 6’ - male or female- I template all of our costumes up to waist 45" or up to 6’ tall if you are over that I must template a special pattern just for you-this takes time, so you will be waiting a little longer as much as 2 weeks longer- Now we have NO PROBLEM making them for you, but we can not complete the costume with time constraints.
- e. Color changes- if you special order a fabric or request a special fabric add 2 weeks to your completion time.
- f. Special designs or added items (peplums, sashes, etc.) add two weeks to completion.
Again we will contact you if we see any possible delays in completion time.
Payments: We accept many different forms of payment; our main preference is personal check.
We look at it this way it takes us two weeks to get to your order or longer if your check comes back we don’t ship it.
We are bonded which means we will not take your money and run, it cost us money for this insurance to give you a piece of mind that your money is safe.
We also take M.O. and Paypal. M.O. and Paypal does not put your order ahead.
If you pay by personal check, M.O. or paypal they all get slotted 21 days from payment rec’d not payment cleared.

Shipping: We ship USPS Priority. Insurance is included. Shipping for this item is: $ 18.00 (within the 50 US states)

We ship on Fridays only, 21 days from the date of payment or measurements which ever comes last.
Measurements: The measurement sheet is your lifeline to us; on this you must include any changes such as colors or design variations.
If we agreed to a "rush" shipment for you it must be noted on that measurement sheet.
We will not be responsible for errors that were made because the important information that was needed was not noted on the measurement sheet. This is your responsibility. I’m not kidding!
We are human, we make mistakes this rule limits the errors we can make on YOUR order.
If it is all right there and we missed it then it becomes our problem to fix it and make it right.
We work on an average of 2-3 costumes a day, I receive between 25 to 50 emails a day, no kidding :>) sometimes I will remember you, sometimes I will forget who I am.
That is why it is imperative that you do not make changes any where but on that measurement sheet. Returns: There is a 48 hour window on our auctions if we are not notified of a potential problem within the 48 hour window the auction becomes "as is" There are some rules that because of past abuse we have had to implement, If you have to return a costume for a replacement.
- a. Contact us within 48 hours
- b. Return it timely (7 days is not unreasonable) if it ships after 7 days it will be refused.
- c. Don’t wear it
- d. Be nice it will be reciprocated
- e. Please do not threaten negative to try and change our policy, it won’t work!
Cancellation: You Cancel
Life happens to everybody and some times things don’t work the way we have planned and sometimes orders need to be cancelled. I don’t have a problem with cancellations as long as you work with me to cancel the order correctly. What that means, that we as a team go through Ebay to get the listing fees that Snookies has paid back. We will charge a 10.00 up charge on all cancellations; this is not to punish you. This is for our time in setting you up in our system.

Please do not make the mistake of thinking that I will not refuse payment or cancel your order if unreasonable demands are made..
As strange as this may sound, I don't believe in "The customer is always right", because too many people think that means "The customer is superior". I believe that any business relationship should be a partnership. You are paying us for our time and designs, please don't try to coerce us into changing our policies or requirements.
