Grand Mayan and the Mayan Palace. The Grand Mayan is a separate
facility on the same property as the Mayan Palace. The key word here is
GRAND. The Mayan Palace Resorts have already been called the most
spectacular in Latin America. The Grand Mayan units take it three
notches up in luxury with such things as a jacuzzi in the bedroom, a
cooling pool on the private balcony and more spacious elegantly
decorated rooms. Also, as a Grand Mayan guest, you will receive an
armband/bracelet that lets you access the gym and also the big jacuzzi
at the spa location for FREE while other Mayan Palace guests are

Mayan Palace is known for its huge pools
Grand Mayan Palace Beach and Golf Resorts are known throughout Latin America as
one of the most prestigious places to vacation. The properties are surrounded
by acres of lakes, waterfalls and lush gardens that can be navigated by meandering
paths, “gondola” boats or small trains. Each property is unique
in it’s setting, but all are located on the beach and offers an array
of amenities for adults or families from the romantic to the relaxing to
the athletic.
  
The pools at Grand Mayan Palace are the largest I have seen. They have multiple
levels, waterfalls, sun tanning decks(within the water), volleyball and basketball
nets, water fountains, childrens pools to adult only areas. The pools also
have submerged built-in chairs and of course the standard pool “bar
stool”. Each property offers beach side and pool side bar and snack
service. Just raise your hand or the flag on your chair and your favorite
umbrella drink will be on it’s way.

Dining Room with small Dinette, Living Room has 2 sofas that convert to 2 beds
The
condo’s are all color coordinated throughout and fit the area’s their
located in. Each 2 bedroom condo has master bedroom with a king bed,
and full private bath with private cooling pool on balcany. The 2nd
bedroom has a king bed and double jacuzzi and a full private bath. The
living and dining room have 2 hideaway beds, that could each be made
into 2 twin beds, tv, and small kitchenette with a 2 burner stove,
microwave, large refrigerator and the necessities for cooking utensils.
The condo can also be rented as a 1 bedroom with a king bed, full bath,
living room with 2 hideaway beds and dining room with kitchenette or a
condo can be rented as a studio with a king bed and full bath with the
double jacuzzi. Daily maid service is included in the rental price.
Child care and babysitting are also available.  Activities
 Each location offers many amenities, some are listed below. To get a complete

Please keep in mind that times of the year, and the location…Caribbean
vs. Pacific Oceans offer different viewing of sea life and surf levels.
Water: surfing, snorkeling, boating, dolphin watching, whale watching, scuba
diving, deep sea fishing, parasailing, water skiing, boogie boarding, shell
hunting, water parks, jet skiing, water polo, volleyball, and sunset cruises.
Land: Golf (at a 20%discount), Mayan Ruin tours, jeep/jungle tours, shopping,
and dining at restaurants with a local Mexican flavor to favorites from the
US

 There are no hidden fees or
taxes associated with this listing. You may be asked to pay a small
resort tax of around $10 or $15 to the Mayan. No one has had top pay it

My
son (14 yrs) and I had a fabulous time at the Cancun Mayan Palace
Riviera. We always go with another couple and their 3 children. We
rented and car and tooled all around. We relaxed, basked in the sun,
walked along the beach, ate awesome authentic food, meet some wonderful
people, swam in the ocean, hiked around and up the ruins, rode ATV's,
swam with sharks, went horseback riding (on the beach and in the
ocean), etc. I'm just skimming the surface... Thanks again.
