On June 24 through June 27, 1924, the Grants Pass Daily Courier sponsored a "Free Electric Cooking School".....A contest was held on the last day for cake, pie and bread bakers.  First prize, a Hotpoint Super Automatic electric range, was awarded to Mrs. F. W. Clark for the best loaf of bread. SHE IS PICTURED ON THE COVER

SOME OF THE RECIPES AND HOUSEHOLD HINTS CONTAINED IN THIS COOKBOOK ARE FROM THE 1933 COURIER COOKBOOK, THE REST  ARE FROM THE READERS  AND EMPLOYEES OF THE GRANTS PASS COURIER.
