Bill designs and creates every crochet hook individually. We were honored to create the 2002 CGOA Commemorative crochet hook. And Graydog crochet hooks have been featured in crochet publications, exhibitions and galleries, and are in collections worldwide.
Size Q, 16mm, Length: Eight and three-quarters inches. This Graydog "Big Puppy" is great for rag/rug crochet, heavy yarn, or multiple strands of yarn. After hand-turning this one-of-a kind Graydog crochet hook, Bill removed it from the lathe and hand-carved a graceful Spiral design into the handle, with two spirals that criss-cross each other. Bill hand-turned the crochet hook from Bloodwood (also called Satine), a dense, fine-textured hardwood with beautiful lustre and rich natural color. At the top and in the center are "bead" segments of naturally-black African Ebony. Velvet presentation pouch and gift card are included. ... It's a Graydog!

About Shipping:
We ship in a strong shipping box. U.S. Postal rates for boxed packages almost doubled last year, but we have not raised our shipping rate. First Class shipping for your Graydogs is still $3.00 -- and that includes full Insurance on your package. Priority Mail -- with Insurance included -- is still $5.50. And shipping for any number of additional Graydogs combined over two weeks is still FREE!
