Here you have an interesting and tough-to-find bit of GREASY NEALE & PHILADELPHIA EAGLES MEMORABILIA! If you are a fan, please...SEE THE SCAN!!! This is Neale featured in A COMPLETE 1951 edition of COLLIER'S MAGAZINE. He is not on the cover. The good stuff is inside where you get an 5-page excellent article with 5 great photographs entitled: "FOOTBALL IS MY LIFE". (And it's been a good life, says a famed player and coach, as he looks back upon 40 years of glory and heartbreak. College and pro star and mentor--he's seen it all.) It's a great piece. In the photos he is with John Kellison... Harry Stansbury... & his wife. He is also pictured as a star of the 1919 CINCINNATI REDS with whom he batted .347 against the Chicago Black Sox... Neale was the coach of the Washington and Jefferson team that tied the California Wonder Team in the 1922 Rose Bowl... He also coached the Philadelphia Eagles to the NFL crown twice!!! The full-page color photo is of Neale with Lou Little on the Columbia practice field... When is the last time you saw one of these?! This is in fairly gently read condition. Not mint but fine.
