What you see here is a really great playing !! Vintage Martin Committee trumpet from 1946/47 best era for those #156108 . Lacquer is surely original as it`s worn in spots around this horn. Whatever wear it has it will really reward you by how it plays as it is a great player here ! If you don`t care about lacquer perfection but you want a great sound buy this one and you will really love it !
Horn looks nice like for 60 years old and plays really superb ! Engraving is fully readable and looks better than on photos. There are scratches on the bell/wear ( there was no repair on the bell flare ). My repairman needed to solder tuning slide top pipe and it needed to be put little more in so it does not go totally to the end in the top part but this is a minor issue.
This trumpet sounds really great. It is a medium bore . It plays with great sound. Valves have perfect compression and work very nice and smooth. There are no wear on pistons and those have very good plating and compression is perfect as there is no air escaping anywhere when I blew to this horn and made a valves test. Please examine all photos ! If you are looking for a lacquer/condition perfection this is not the one but if you want a sound perfection that buy this one !
Horn is ready to play upon receipt. NO BRASS PATCHES ! Smooth and fast valves, all slides come out ( see photos )

My price here is very reasonable. These days Martin Committee trumpets in questionable conditions requiring repairs or overhauls are selling on ebay for $1000+ dollars !
