Promo-only on marbled vinyl, never issued with a printed jacket. The rarest edition of this LP! Read all about this scarce pressing here. So you can see what the vinyl looks like, I've included a picture of an unsealed copy I sold back in March. The open copy sold for $235. The copy you are bidding on is still sealed and is the only one I have!

GRADING
If there's one thing I've learned about eBay, it's that OVERGRADING runs rampant. Near Mint has come to mean "looks good from a few feet away". VG+ has come to mean "found on the interstate" or "stored amongst lawn clippings" instead of a respectable albeit flawed record. I won't grade any record Mint unless it's sealed or brand new/unplayed. M- (Mint Minus or Near Mint) is my standard grade for a beautiful record or picture sleeve. EX means if there's a flaw on the sleeve or disc, it's very very minor... something noted by condition freaks (myself included). VG+ means a sleeve is creased or shows a ring impression and a disc shows cosmetic signs of handling. A VG+ record is one I'd keep in my collection without feeling the need for an upgrade unless it was a record I really liked. VG means "used but not abused"... your average secondhand store copy. A VG sleeve will have multiple flaws (sticker tear, seam split, ring wear) and the disc shows heavier wear suggesting the likelihood of moderate surface noise. Anything below VG will have ample recitation of flaws. Grading is sleeve first, disc second.
All grading is VISUAL and done under an extremely unforgiving 150W Halogen bulb. In an ideal world, every record would be wet-vac'd and play-graded from beginning to end. Unfortunately such niceties are not practical when handling even a modest quantity of vinyl. Conservative visual grading provides a second-best but dependable sound quality forecast in a realm that can vary wildly depending on factors like pressing quality, stylus condition, method of cleaning, and so on. Having said all that, I do listen to needle-drop most records I list, and I will comment in the occasional description (e.g. "plays great"). On some high-end 45's, I'll wet-vac the vinyl using my all-manual KAB EV-1 cleaner. Vinyl hounds take note... money spent on a wet-vac record cleaner (whether it's a budget-minded EV-1 or an overpriced VPI model) will seem inconsequential compared to the audible improvements one of these suckers can bestow.

POSTAGE & INSURANCE
Worldwide shipping costs can be found toward the bottom of this listing. Multiple same-day wins of like listings are shipped for the same price as single wins within the US. I do not combine items between weeks. Postage to Canada: same as US postage + $2 per additional LP. All other countries: each additional 45 will cost $2 and each additional LP $4 for First Class International.
I package all items how I wish other eBay sellers packaged my purchases. As a collector and frequent eBay buyer, I understand the importance of maintaining condition and the aggravation of damage in transit. Having said that, even securely packed items are no match for postal machinery or delivery personnel gone awry. While infrequent, loss and/or major damage DOES occur. I include Delivery Confirmation on all domestic shipments, but if your package gets lost or mangled and you opted out of insurance, there is simply nothing I can do about it! As of January 2008, insurance is REQUIRED for international packages valued over $50. Customs concerns? Feel free to e-mail me.
INSURANCE COSTS: $2 for up to $50 worth of coverage, $3 for up to $100 worth of coverage, and $1 for each additional $100 worth of coverage. Rates apply to both domestic and international packages.
SPECIAL NOTE: Unlike most sellers, I utilize a private package insurance company, not the USPS. Doing so amounts to a huge boon for international buyers since I am able to insure standard First Class International packages for full value (though that value will NOT appear on the package itself). Your package will not bear the standard USPS barcoded insurance label, but it is covered if you paid for insurance. Also note that the cost of insurance is not reflected in the metered postage on your package. The private package insurance policy specifically prohibits marking external packaging "insured". Why? Because doing so simply alerts would-be thieves that the package contents are valuable. It makes sense if you think about it.

about RYEBREAD

New auctions begin and last week's auctions end every Sunday starting at 11am CST (GMT -6h). Click the image to the right to see more current RYEBREAD listings and be sure to add me to your Favorite Sellers list! Payment expected within six days following auction's end. Once ten days have elapsed, an Unpaid Item report is automatic. Thanks to a few bad apples, bidders with fewer than ten feedbacks are required to e-mail me BEFORE bidding. Failure to do so WILL result in bid cancellation.
I'm always looking to buy punk rock records and paper items, both for my personal collection and for resale. I'm a collector first and a reseller second. I pay fair, immediate cash for single items or whole collections and will travel anywhere for substantial stashes. I RELY ON REFERRALS. Treating buyers and sellers right is the core of my business.
