How to control the
system with the remote controllers
Bypass:
Press “Lightening” button on the remote controller
twice quickly. You will be able to walk around home without
triggering the motion detectors, but the rest of the sensors are
still armed.
Arm:
Press “LOCK” buttonon the remote controller, all of the
sensors are armed. When any of the sensors are triggered, the siren
will sound and the system will dial the pre-programmed telephone
numbers and send out text messages.
Disarm:
Press “UNLOCK” buttonon the remote controller, all of the sensors are
disarmed.
Emergency
alarm:
Press “BELL” buttonon
the remote controller, the system will be triggered immediately
whenever the system is armed or disarmed. The siren
will sound and the system will dial the pre-programmed telephone
numbers and send out text
messages.
How to control the system by calling
in
To control your GSM system via a
telephone, first you must dial the telephone
number of
your system. After 3 or 4 rings, the system will answer you with one "beep". Input your 4
digit password, you will hear two "beep" if the password is
correct, otherwise, you will hear a continuous "beep",
and the alarm system will hang
up if you input the wrong password
for three times. After
successfully entering the system, you can complete the following
actions:
Press "1" to listen into the
monitored area for 20 seconds, re-press "1" for additional 20
seconds.
Press "2" to turn on the siren.
Press "3" to turn the siren off.
Press "4" to activate your alarm
system.
Press "5" to deactivate your alarm
system.
How to control the system when receiving an
alarm
call
When the
system is triggered, it will call up to 6 pre-stored phone numbers.
After you pick up an alarm call, you will hear 10 seconds recorded
voice message, then you can complete the following
actions: Press "1" to listen into the
monitored area for 20 seconds, re-press "1" for additional 20
seconds. Press"2" to turn
on the siren. Press"3" to turn the siren
off. Press"4" to activate your alarm
system. Press"5" to deactivate your alarm
system. Press"#" to disable the alarm and
hang up.
How to control the system by text
message
You can control your
alarm system by sending a text message with capital letters. For
example:
>Password +ARM (i.e. "1234ARM") , then the
system is armed and replies with text message: "Host Is
Activated!"
>Password+ DISARM (i.e. "1234DISARM"), then
the system is disarmed and reply with text message:"Host Is
Deactivated!"
>Password +ONSIREN (i.e. "1234ONSIREN"), then
the siren is on and the system replies with text message:"The Siren
Is
Opened"
>Password +OFFSIREN(i.e. "1234OFFSIREN"),
then the siren is off and the system replies with text message:"The
Siren Is
Closed"
>Password +CHECK (i.e. "1234CHECK"), then the
system replies with text message: "Host Is Activated" OR "Host
Is Deactivated", depending on
current
status.
How does the system alert you
by text message
>When the system is triggered by a sensor, it will send
out a text message indicating the zone
number.
> When the system is triggered by the panic button, it
will send out a text message: "
Emergency!".
>When the AC power is off, the system will send out a
text message: " AC power shut
off".
>When the AC power is recovered, the system will send
out a text message: "AC power recovered".
Each sensor will be assigned with a zone number
automatically after programed. Once you memorize or write down which number
corresponds to which sensor then you will know that front door or say the garage
door is open! To do so, you will need to trigger the sensors one by one and
write down the zone numbers from the text messages, which are assigned to each
sensor.

How to
install the Smart Card.
Step
1.
Put the
small GSM SimCard in the slide tray as shown below and slide it into
the slot.
Step 2.
Install your alarm sensors according to
your plan to places.
Step 3.
Plug in the power supply and witch on the backup
battery, the switch is on the top of main control unit.
Step4.
The alarm system will now
initialize and you will hear one "buzz" sound.
Step5.
The alarm will auto-check the GSM network and
log-on. Initialization time is about 1 minute. The red LED flashes
as initialization proceeds.
Step 6.
As initialization is completed you will hear one
long buzz sound, the ARM LED light stops flashing and is on
continously. This means the entire system is activated. Use your
remote controller to immediately disarm the
system.
Step7.
If
initialization is successful the red NETWORK LED will flash. If
initialization failed you will hear a constant short buzz sound.
This indicates that the SIMCard is out of network or the
initialization was not correctly completed. Please make sure your
SIMCard is correctly installed and repeat steps #2 to
#6.
Step8.
Screw
the antenna into the input jack of the GSM main control
panel.
How to setup the system
1. You have
the option of setting up a 10 second recorded voice message which
will be played when the alarm calls up to 6 phone numbers. Input:
"#9*80 Password #" on your wireless programing keypad (The original
password is "1234"), then enter "#9*801234#" to record your message.
The ARM LED will be constantly on. Speak to the GSM main panel
from a distance of about 12 inches and record your message.Then
press any key on your alarm keypad and you will hear one short and
one long BUZZ. This indicates recording was
successful.
2. You can
set up six (6) telelphone numbers to be called by the alarm panel.
To program the first telephone number (such as the telephone number
is 555-1234), you would input: "#1*5551234#". The panel will make
one short and one long BUZZ sound to indicate successful input or a
continuous BUZZ sound if the input was not successful. To input a
second phone number, input
"#2*5551235#", etc. To program a long distance phone number,
you will need to input the area code, such as "#2*18095551235#". If
you are using a central monitoring station, the phone number should
be programed as #1.
3. To
delete a telephone number, press "#1*#" to remove the first stored
telephone. Input "#2*#" to remove the second stored phone number,
etc.
4. The
alarm siren can be plugged in for use inside or outside your house
or just unplugged for a "silent" alarm.
5. Setting
Siren Time: You can customize the time of siren by inputing "#9*4?#"
with the "?" indicating the minutes. For instance if you wish the
siren to sound for 3 minutes, input "#9*43#". If you wish to have
the siren sound continously, the input "#9*4*#". The siren will now
sound continously until you disarm the system.
6. Password
Setup: the original password is "1234". For example, to change your
original password to "6789", please input "#7*6789#. The password
can be any 4 digit number.
7. Your can
program the system to work with many central alarm monitoring
stations. You will be assigned a unique ID code by your central
monitoring station which can be inputed to your alarm panel. For
example, to enter a 6 digit code of "123456", input:
"#8*123456#".
8. Text
Message: Your Diamond Design Alarm can send a short text message to
one telephone (generally a cellular phone) when the system is
triggered. To program this function, input: "#0*phone
number#", for example, "555-1234" is the phone number, the
input would be "#0*5551234#". If it is a long distance phone number,
you need to add an area code, i.e. "#0*18095551234#". When an alarm
is triggered, the selected telephone will receive a short text
message indicating that a specific zone has been triggered or that
the power has been lost to the alarm panel or that the power has
been turned back on. If you do not wish to use the text message
function, please enter "#0*#" to delete any previously selected
telephone
number.
