On May 6, 1966, Bud Gardner started building his brand of beautiful surfboards, on May 6, 2009, Bud Gardner started his 44th year of building his brand of beautiful surfboards and in all that time, he has personally shaped and colored each and every one of them. He is one of the last original surfboard builders from the 60's still building superior surfboards and was honored in 2007 by being nominated for Induction into the East Coast Surfing Hall of Fame in the Pioneer Surfboard Builders Division for 2008. Up for auction is one Bud Gardner Surfboard "GTO Bitchin' Edition" model shaped and signed by Bud Gardner.

     COLLECTIBLE  SURFBOARD  ART WALL HANGER SERIES

For some time now, this type of surfboard that is extra fancy and has all the "Bells and Whistles" has been sought after and worthy of hanging on the wall as art.  They never will touch the water although they are built very strong and will last for many years riding waves.  If you want to ride waves with them, they surf great, but keep your collectible wall hanger as art and it will only increase in value.  Don't miss your chance on getting one of these Bud Gardner masterpiece wall hangers.

This 9' 1" "GTO Bitchin' Edition" model comes with all the bells and whistles, three 3/16th" Redwood Stringers, matching Redwood and Balsawood laminated nose and tail blocks with fiberglass yellow tinted protective tips that glow when the sun shines on them, and removeable Rainbow "Woody" fin. Ram Spoiler tail, concave nose, 50/50 Egg rails with a step down deck. Laminated with 8 oz. fiberglass, glossed and polished. Total yellow color.
