I am a self-taught artist. I fell in love with painting the moment I held my first crayon in my little 2 year old hand. Many of my paintings are created from my imagination. Painting in this way, from my inner world, demands existing in the moment--responding to impulses and impressions as they arise and seek external life.

My still life pieces and more realistic landscapes and florals are painted from life which provides a visual reference point in the external world--a radically different experience. The first, is my internal, spiritual world brought forth into visibility. The other brings the external world into and through me for expression. Each way is a great adventure with unlimited possibilities for creative expression and discovery. My paintings and prints are in collections all over the world.
