Item specifics
Brand: Guild
This auction is for a 1990 Guild D-15 WG Red acoustic dreadnought guitar. Made in Westerly R.I. USA. This guitar is mahogany with good looking red stain finish. The instrument features a solid mahogany top, laminated mahogany sides and arch back. A rosewood bridge and rosewood fingerboard. The Guild logo on the headstock is inlaid mother of pearl. The nut looks to be bone as does the bridge saddle. Nut measures 1 3/4". It has the original Grover tuners. The guitar is a joy to play and sounds fantastic with low actionand a warm big sound that has a strong bass response with jingly highs. Very little visible fret wear and a straight solid neck. It has some wear in the form of various small dings and scratches. The front has a surface crack which is 2 1/2" long but does not go through the wood and is quite stable and only of cosmetic concern. The only modification was the addition of a strap button on the heel. This is an all around great playing guitar built in the USA before Guild was bought by Fender. Included is the case pictured, a padded cardboard quality case with only one working latch. It could use the other latches repaired. Sold as is, please look at the pictures which should tell the whole story and good luck bidding. I stand behind my items as they are described so bid with confidence.
