| Through the multipurpose buttons on the control panel you can scroll through all of the programming options and easily make your selection and set the program. Auto on and auto off settings are some of the more unique programmable features available on the Compact Digital. Also, if you are having a party you can program the machine to “pre-grind”. When this feature is chosen, the machine will grind coffee ahead of time and the next time you push the brew button, it brews right away. To customize the strength of your brew, the amount of coffee ground per cycle can be adjusted between 6 and 9 grams per shot, and the grind coarseness can also be adjusted to help control the speed of the flow of the espresso/coffee as it brews. Other programmable features include temperature control, pre brewing, decalcification cycle, auto rinse, water hardness setting and it will even count how many cups it has brewed. |

This is more then just an "Espresso Machine"! It is easily capable of making any style of cappuccino or latte. In fact, most of our customers use their Super Automatic espresso machines for "crema coffee" instead of drip coffee. Crema coffee is simply an espresso brewed to fill a regular coffee mug. This produces a much more aromatic and flavorful cup of coffee. As a result of the pressure brewed process (8 to 10 atmospheres of pressure!), the gravity based drip coffee systems simply cannot match. The Gaggia Compact Digital will also produce hot water for Tea or Steamed Milk for Hot Chocolate! |

It really does not get any easier then this. Just press the brew button and the machine does the rest. It will automatically grind and extract the coffee to your desired taste. When the coffee is finished brewing it will place the coffee grounds into an internal dump box for later disposal (it will even tell you when it is full). Depending on the size of the coffee that you are brewing it will be done in as quick as 35 seconds and ready to brew again. |

The LCD display will show you in words what is happening in the machine. It will tell you when to add beans, add water, when to decalcify and even if the brew group is out of place. Use this also for system programming that includes temperature control, language, auto-shut off, pre-infusion, pre-grinding, cup warmer, temperature and cycle count. |

This is another advantage of the Super Automatic coffee center. The first step takes about 2 seconds as it moistens and conditions the ground coffee. Next a 2 second pause allows the aromatic oils to leach from the interior of the coffee. The second step activates the high pressure pump to ensure absolute maximum flavor extraction with a perfect crema topping. |

This is used with ground coffee only. Perfect for those occasions when you don't want to be "caffeinated" or have decaf-only guests. This is also useful for experimenting with different types of coffees. If you are naturally a decaf drinker then use the bypass doser for regular instead. This has proven to be a highly sought after feature. |

Preheating your cups is important. The Syncrony Compact Digital will hold up to six espresso cups and is passively heated. When the machine is on the cup warmer is being heated. |

The Gaggia Compact Digital's brew group is easy to remove. Just open the front door and remove with the thumb release lever. This gives you access to everything that brews the coffee. Normal maintenance would include a quick rinse and dry. Further maintenance requires the use of the included brew group key to remove screens for cleaning. A fairly simple procedure that should take under 5 minutes. |
