Up for auction is this vintage Garrard Type A70 Laboratory Series Automatic Record Changer with an Empire 880P Cartridge and Stylus. This is from my uncle’s estate and is in good overall condition. It powers up via both the automatic and manual On/Off switches and runs but I have not tested it with an LP record. The wood cabinet is cosmetically in very good condition with no nicks or deterioration of the finish. It has four (4) speeds: 78, 45, 33, & 16. The center post/spindle is short and not the tall type (which is required to play a stack of records automatically), and a 45 rpm adapter for the spindle is included. Also included is the original Instruction Manual as well as a Service Manual.
