 These tubes of Genesis paints can be stored opened and the paint will not dry unless it is heated to 265 degrees.. you can put them in a small snack-sized ziplock to keep them clean or some of our customers buy these and empty them into our recloseable empty paint jars we sell in sets of six specifically for storing the genesis paints. This way the paint stays neat and clean and stored in a recloseable little jar.

Genesis is an artist quality fine-art paint that is ready to apply without repeated pre-mixing and will not dry until you are ready; then it dries very quickly.

Genesis Artist Colors stay wet until heated, making them more convenient than oils or acrylics. The paint will not dry when left in the open on a non-porous surface. It is important to use a glass or other non-porous surface such as china, polished marble, aluminum, or porcelain for your palette.
