Not Oil or Acrylic
Genesis® Artist Colors
are a new paint chemistry, called "Heat Set Artist Oils." Genesis
is an artist quality fine-art paint that is ready to apply without repeated
pre-mixing and will not dry until you are ready; then it dries very quickly. Genesis® Artist Colors
offer fine control in mixing, blending and application, and can be worked
in many states without the addition of mediums. They are very similar
to oil paints in feel, opacity and translucence. It is highly recommended that you experiment
with your style to achieve the desired effect.
Genesis® Artist Colors
stay wet until heated, making them more convenient than oils or acrylics.
The paint will not dry when left in the open on a non-porous surface.
It is important to use a glass or other non-porous surface such as china,
polished marble or porcelain for your palette.
One of the characteristics of Genesis® Artist
Colors
is that they are thixotropic, therefore although they may be thick and
like stiff paste in the jar, it only takes a little stirring or mixing
with the spatula, for them to become soft and malleable. Application by
spatula or brush is done very easily at this point, even when using the
impasto, thick application technique. This painting technique can be used
without having to add any thinning
This system has been developed for the serious artist that knows what they want. It comes complete with all the GENESIS colors . The studio box is well crafted and will last for years.
Made
of 100% tempered safety glass backed in white satey vinyl and
nonporous, Paragona™ glass palettes which are perfect to use with the genesis paint systems.

If your item is under 13 oz, I will send it out USPS First Class Mail. Anything weighing more will be shipped according to the listing details. I ship out on Wednesdays and Fridays only until further notice. I do not inflate my shipping costs....i go directly with the shipping calculator offered by ebay. First class mail can take up to 10 days from mailing date, so please be aware of this.
Insurance is recommended especially with first class mail...Please think about how upset you as customer become when you aren't receiving the products that you bought and paid for, how unfair you think it is, and then imagine how it affects me as the seller, i have a very upset customer, lose of product, lose of profit, replacement of product and the feedback issue, for something i Have ABSOLUTELY NO CONTROL over. I could add it to the cost of the product but i really want it to be the customers choice, so to protect yourself from disappointment please purchase the insurance. It is only $1.75 for the first $50.00 and will save much frustration and disappointment. Any orders over $50.00 I do REQUIRE INSURANCE TO BE PURCHASED.
