Genuine Oak wood finished in Brown satin. Wittner Metronome with bell mechanism New in box. Made in Germany by Wittner. These are the finest traditional metronomes available.  Suggested retail price is $149.

This metronome has a bell and can be set to ring in 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, and 6/8 time or can be used with no bell. Beware of other Wittner metronomes on ebay; Some new wittners are made of plastic imitation wood. Real wood metronomes have a nicer sounding click. These beautiful classic wood metronomes are destined to be a collectors item. It is very hard to find the original wood metronomes NEW in a BOX.

To hear an example of this metronome listen to Paul McCartney's recording of Blackbird on The Beatles White Album. You can hear it being panned in and out of the music.
